Urgent search underway for missing boy Chorley, 15, as concerns grow


An urgent search is underway for a missing Chorley teenager as concerns grow.

Denis Bogdanovic, 15, was last seen in the Clayton Brook area around 6:20 p.m. Saturday (May 1).

The police say they are increasingly concerned for his well-being and appeal to the public to help them find him.

He is described as a mixed race man, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with dark hair and a slim build.

Officers say that on his last visit, he was wearing a black coat with a fur hood, gray sweatpants and gray sneakers.

Denis is believed to have ties to the Bradford area.

A Lancashire Police spokesperson said: ‘We are increasingly concerned for the welfare of Denis Bogdanovic, 15, who is absent from his home in Chorley.

“They were last seen in the Clayton Brook area around 6:20 pm on 5/1/21. Denis is described as a mixed race male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, with dark hair and a slim build.

“When he was last seen he was wearing a black coat with a fur hood, gray sweatpants and gray sneakers. Denis is believed to have ties to the Bradford area.

“We are now worried for his well-being and ask for your help in finding Denis.”

Anyone with information on Denis’s whereabouts is urged to contact the police immediately.
