Sporting Group International secures new partner for Blackpool FC

Sporting Group International, specialists in sports partnerships and recruitment, have negotiated a new agreement for IFX Payments to become the official foreign exchange partner of Championship football club Blackpool FC.

The new two-year business and supply partnership agreement will see IFX Payments support The Tangerines in all international transactions, while its logo will appear on kit worn by team management for training and match days .

Martin Booker, Commercial Director of Blackpool FC, added: “We are delighted to welcome IFX Payments as our latest official sponsor. The IFX logo is prominently displayed on all management team shirts on match days.

“Furthermore, they will become our official FX partner promoting their trading services to our partners and corporate clients for FX payments. We look forward to working together on this new partnership.

In business for over 16 years, IFX Payments has built a streamlined digital payments experience for businesses and individuals in the UK, Europe, Middle East and Australasia. However, its platforms offer a range of comprehensive banking processes.

Sporting Group International operates from Birmingham, New Delhi and a recently opened European office in Dublin. The partnership between IFX and Blackpool is one of several commercial partnerships the company has brokered in football in 2022 and is currently helping Bolton Wanderers secure a new naming rights partner for the current University of Bolton stadium.
