RuPaul’s Drag Race UK: Blackburn’s AJ Odudu to guest judge

Blackburn TV presenter AJ Odudu has been announced as a celebrity guest judge for the next season of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.

The St Bede’s High School alum is just one of many announced in the show’s star-studded lineup, which returns to our screens later this month.

Presenter Tess Daly, singer and actress Olly Alexander, Spice Girls member Mel B, and actress Dame Joanna Lumley are just a few of the other guest judges who have been announced for season four.

Speaking about the announcement, AJ said, “I love the glitz, the glamour, the transformation and the tricks! I’m honored to be a part of the Drag Race magic.”

Many fans can’t wait for AJ to return to their screens.

Married to First Sight star Nikita Jasmine said: “AJ Odudu, can’t wait to watch you. My favorite show of all time.

Carys said, “AJ! I can’t cope.

A third fan said, “I love AJ! She should be on every TV show, she’s so awesome.

RuPaul’s Drag Race is a reality competition television series, where host RuPaul hunts for Britain’s next drag superstar.

Viewers can expect more death drops, tricks, splits, and jaw-dropping looks.

Series One, Two and Three of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK have been streamed over 51 million times on BBC iPlayer.

Joining RuPaul on the judging panel are his trusty Drag Race UK sidekicks Michelle Visage, Alan Carr and Graham Norton.

The nominees have yet to be announced, but previous seasons have included talent from Lancashire.

Last year, Burnley’s ‘Elektra Fence’, real name Julian Riley, entered the competition but was eliminated in episode two.

The critically acclaimed and award-winning series will return to our screens on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer on Thursday 22nd September.
