Radisson agrees deal with Blackpool FC

An existing hotel in the Championship Football Club’s stadium, which offers contemporary rooms overlooking the pitch, is set to become a member of Radisson Individuals.

Radisson Hotel Group has secured another distinctive property for its fast-growing conversion brand.

Following the signing of an agreement with Blackpool FC, Radisson Hotel Group is to convert the current Bloomfield Road Stadium hotel to Blackpool FC Stadium Hotel, a member of Radisson Individuals. One of five hotels integrated into a UK football stadium, the Blackpool FC Hotel will join Radisson Individuals in the second quarter of 2022.

The new Radisson Individuals outpost features 66 guest rooms, comprised of standard and executive rooms as well as suites, 22 of which have pitch views. These are joined by a restaurant and bar offering British cuisine, a sports bar lounge and a large reception area that can accommodate up to 300 people, a spa with four treatment rooms, a sauna and a fitness centre. form of 90 m². The hotel manager is Chloe Pixton.

Joining Radisson Individuals marks the latest step in the revival of Championship football club, which was bought by wealthy financier Simon Sadler in 2019.

The property puts guests a ten-minute walk from Blackpool South train station and a ten-minute drive from Blackpool North train station. As a major tourist destination, the city is home to various popular sites including the Blackpool Pleasure Beach amusement park and the famous Blackpool Tower.
