Preston North End vs Burnley TV channel, how to watch and team news

Preston North End host Lancashire rivals Burnley on Tuesday night.

The Lilywhites renew their rivalry with the Clarets after six and a half years, with Vincent Kompany’s men making the short trip to Deepdale. Both teams were off last Saturday afternoon, following the death of Queen Elizabeth II and the EFL’s decision to postpone all weekend football afterwards.

It’s a highly anticipated derby and here’s all the key game information.

To start up

The game has been pushed back to 8 p.m. at Deepdale on Tuesday, September 13.

First news from the team

Ben Woodburn is out for three games as he recovers from an ankle injury suffered at Coventry City. Andrew Hughes should be back available for ENP while Sean Maguire and Bambo Diaby are in contention again after their injury dismissals.

For BurnleyAshley Westwood is the only long-term absentee, but the game will likely come too soon for summer signing Scott Twine and Kevin Long as well.

How to watch

The derby clash has been selected for Sky Sports coverage and set-up will begin at 7.30pm on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football. This means the match will not be available to stream worldwide on iFollow, which means the audio will only be available there. Highlights can be found afterwards on the Sky Sports app and the clubs’ official YouTube channels. We’ll be blogging live throughout the evening, from Deepdale, right here on LansLive.
