Football rumours: Chelsea push to seal Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang deal

The Guardian says Chelsea are pushing to sign the 33-year-old Barcelona striker and former Arsenal captain, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Blues are hoping for a treble transfer after signing 21-year-old Wesley Fofana from Leicester in the hope of securing Everton winger Anthony Gordon, 21, as well.

Metro reports on continuing drama at Old Trafford with Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly considering a potential exit to Napoli before the window closes on Thursday. The striker, 37, has started just one Premier League game this season and is widely believed to be unhappy at the club.

Crystal Palace have made a £27million bid for the Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher, according to the Times. The 22-year-old English international, on loan to the Eagles last season, made a strong impression.

And the Telegraph reports that Tottenham have reignited interest in the 28-year-old Atletico Madrid winger Yannick Carrasco. Spurs had attempted a deal in January but the LaLiga side wouldn’t let him go.
