An elderly man was seriously injured in a collision yesterday afternoon.
Police were called to Greenhead Lane, Reedley, just before 2.45pm on Saturday following reports of a crash between a gray Vauxhall Mokka, a white BMW 135i and a cyclist.
The Vauxhall driver, an 83-year-old from Burnley, suffered life-threatening injuries.
He was taken to hospital where he remains in serious condition.
A 30-year-old cyclist was also injured. He suffered leg and chest injuries but is expected to make a full recovery.
The occupants of the BMW fled. They have not yet been identified.
