ROVERS squandered a lead again as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at relegation-threatened Peterborough.
Tony Mowbray’s men were down to 10 at half-time when Tayo Edun received a second yellow card.
Ben Brereton broke the deadlock 13 minutes from time but the hosts hit back through Sammie Szmodics and Jack Marriott to further dampen Rovers’ play-off hopes.
Here’s what fans had to say about the game.
How bad are we at hanging on to a track? I’m so sick of the disappointment. If it hadn’t been for a good start to the season, we would be fighting relegation. Forget the playoffs. We’ve proven that we’re just not good enough. I will come on Monday and cheer them on because I am #rtid #Rovers

Yet another missed opportunity with results elsewhere that once again go our way. I can’t ask for much more, all we have to do is win a football game.

What’s extraordinary is how bad this league is – if we had taken just a handful more points, we’d be safe in the playoffs. It’s not like the other teams are stealing

Thanks for everything Mowbray but that’s enough for me. He’s done amazing things at this club but it’s time for a change. #Rovers

We didn’t deserve to win at ten.
We didn’t deserve to win with eleven men.I really have never seen a team so unable to maintain a lead.
It’s frustrating to say the least. #Rovers

A defeat on Monday could well see the BBE turn against Mowbray, he must go at the end of the season #Rovers
