A FREE family festival will return to East Lancashire for its fourth edition in a month.
Venues and spaces in Blackburn town center are gearing up to host a series of events, performances and workshops that celebrate the making on Saturday 11th June and Sunday 12th June.
What’s new ?
- An incredible range of family workshops, including model making with Aardman (the creators of Wallace & Gromit) and portable poster making with Let’s Make Art festival favourites! There is the opportunity to try something new for everyone
- Outdoor theater and music shows for all throughout the weekend
- Creativity meets technology with a wide range of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) workshops and activities exploring maker technologies
- Fancy a bite to eat? You won’t be able to resist the selection of delicious street food stalls
Sites include Blackburn Library, Blackburn Museum, Manufacturing Halls, Cathedral Square, Blackburn Cathedral and many more across the city.
Blackburn and Darwen Council are calling on volunteers who can help them put on a fantastic event and give 30,000 visitors the best possible experience.
