Derby County v Blackpool: squad news, planned roster & pre-match quotes from …
Neil Critchley’s team is making the 280 mile round trip to Victoria Park on Saturday January 8.
The game was given a kick-off hour earlier after being selected for a live broadcast abroad.
However, it will not be available to watch live for supporters based here in the UK.
This angered many Blackpool fans with others claiming they will not be making the trip to the North East because of the change.
Tony Fretwell posted on Twitter: “12:30 p.m. saw the likelihood of me going from almost certain to really unlikely.”
Roy Chandler added, “It’s practically impossible to get there by train.”
Ryan Powell said: “A three hour trip before adding time for the snow, which is a lot like this trip. Fans outside were once again touched.”
Responding to Blackpool’s tweet announcing the kick-off change, Jordan Barlow said: “And people want us promoted to the Premier League where tweets like would be very common.”
